Pilots of private aircraft flying from or to third countries are required to submit a general declaration to the Police before take-off, including the flight plan and passenger identity details (name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and validity, and visa information if applicable).

If the flight includes a stopover in another EU Member State, a border check must be carried out, and the declaration must be stamped.
In case of uncertainty regarding the route, the Police will conduct checks at the airport.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in fines.

Yes, extending the airport's opening hours for your flight is possible with prior permission. This service is charged extra. Please contact the airport (info@portoroz-airport.si) in advance, a minimum of 48 hours before the operation, to make necessary arrangements.
