In the hinterland, in the village of Padna, the "Olive Oil and Bledež Festival" is celebrated in May, while July in Nova Vas brings the "Wine and Garlic Festival." Meanwhile, all of Portorož is filled with the fragrance of roses and flowers during the "Festival of Roses and Flowers" throughout May.
