We are pleased to announce that Portorož Airport took part in the Employer’s Day organised by the Plac priložnosti initiative. The event is aimed at 9th-grade primary school students and 3rd and 4th year secondary school students, giving them a direct look into employers’ daily work and discussions on relevant competencies, education and opportunities.
Portorož Airport welcomed 11 participants, who had the opportunity to explore airport operations through a guided airport tour. As part of the visit, we also presented the job role of ramp handling staff, an essential position ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
We thank all participants for their engagement. We hope the experience was inspiring and encouraged young people to consider careers in aviation or related fields.
