Portorož Airport welcomed the ATR 42-500 for the first time, arriving from France with approximately 30 passengers on board.
This versatile aircraft, known for its reliability and exceptional fuel efficiency, is part of the popular ATR family. The ATR 42-500 boasts a cruising speed of 565 km/h (351 mph) and a range of up to 1,500 kilometers, making it ideal for short to medium-haul regional routes. With its high-performance turboprop engines, the aircraft can take off and land on shorter runways like Portorož's, offering greater connectivity for smaller airports.
